A Journey Around the World

I grew up in the Soviet Union, in a dysfunctional family where achievement was the only currency that mattered. From a very young age, I learned to perform. To excel. To earn my place through results. By the time I was an adult, I had turned that early conditioning into a superpower. A college scholarship was my ticket out. First, a university in Bulgaria. Then a marketing job in Austria. Then INSEAD business school, which I scrambled to finance myself because there was no safety net. I simply had to be resourceful. My career and a sense of wanderlust eventually took me across ten countries. After falling in love with entrepreneurship and tech, I landed in Silicon Valley and built my first business: a marketing agency and social club. It was a giant leap and it became my greatest school of life. My business grew to have a presence across three continents, thousands of clients, media accolades, and marquee partners.

The Glitch in the Matrix

On paper, I had made it. But inside, I was running on empty. The operating system I had developed as a child — the one where my worth was tied to my performance — was beginning to glitch. I was pretending to have it all together. Then came the perfect storm. The painful end of a relationship, a betrayal by friends, and burnout at work all hit at the same time. I was so devastated that I finally, in my mid-thirties, did something the "achiever" in me had never allowed: I sought psychological help.
Why do humans, even the smartest and most capable ones, stay so stuck in unhealthy patterns? Why do we chase success without ever knowing who we actually are without it?

The Inner Work

What followed was the hardest project I have ever taken on. More demanding than building a company or moving to a new country. Real transformation required working through trauma I didn't even know I had — the parts of myself I had ignored for decades in the pursuit of results. Being an overachiever, I couldn't help but turn my own healing into a research project. I became obsessed with the why. Why do humans, even the smartest and most capable ones, stay so stuck in unhealthy patterns? Why do we chase success without ever knowing who we actually are without it?

Identity is the Source Code

That curiosity led me to studying coaching, energy healing modalities, and devouring hundreds of books. I came to understand that our identity is a complex system, and behaviors are downstream of that identity.
The Core Insight If your identity doesn't shift, you will eventually snap back to your old patterns — no matter how many new strategies you layer on top. That insight became the foundation of the Recalibrate method.
As I bridged this Identity Gap for myself, I saw it everywhere: in high performers and founders hitting the same walls I had. I started sharing the method, helping leaders become what I call "self-full." Not selfless, not self-absorbed. Self-full: grounded enough in who you actually are to lead from that place instead of running from it. I kept thinking: what if I had access to this kind of support in real time — not once a week, not at a quarterly retreat, but in the moment when the old pattern shows up? That question became Recalibrate AI.
